YT Shorts Transcript Online (www.ytshortstranscript.online) is a free, privacy-friendly YouTube Shorts transcript generator. We built it because extracting transcripts from Shorts should be as simple as paste, copy, download — no login, no friction.

How Transcripts Are Generated

Our tool fetches publicly available captions from YouTube. We do not run separate speech-to-text processing. If a video has no captions enabled, we cannot generate a transcript. Results are delivered directly to your browser — nothing is stored on our servers.

Known Limitations
